The ship restaurant Mr. Baba was built in 2008, from an overal conceptual design based on a drawing of a Dutch Galleon ship (16th century).
The hull is made of steel ribs covered with timber lining. The rigging has three masts and the ship has three decks. The restaurant kitchen is in the hold of the ship as well as the storage facilities. The restaurant has 170 seats indoors and 80 seats on the open decks.
The ship is situated at the beginning of the breakwater pier of the port of Varna and it has become one of the landmarks of the city.
