Once again, a reversing lorry caused the destruction of the original gates and thus the design had to be put back together from the various pieces left.

The new gates can now be seen in all their glory now widened in order to accommodate lorries more easily. 

At the top of the gate the coat of arms is different from the original one. Initially the crest on top of the gate was a lion, but at the client’s request they asked for the crest to be replaced with an arm crest instead. They so provided an old arm crest (made from cast iron), which we used as a model for the new one, being made in a combination of cast brass and aluminum. (Original Left / New right)
