Studio and Foundry Tours
Aquairon welcomes our potential and current clients to visit the foundry and see for themselves our wonderful artisans at work.
During your visit a mix of old and modern techniques can be viewed, from that of hand forging with hammer and anvil to that of 21st Century graphic design modelling and 3D printing, as can be seen in the video on the left, where you can view the recreation of a ‘ Fleur-de-lis’ which will act as a model and client example for the completed works.
Workshop
The internal workshops are always a wide mix of steel and ironwork in various stages of construction.
But at all times safety is prime and thus a clean and clear service area is kept at all times to avoid accidents and make for efficient working,
The Foundry
The foundry shop floor is always busy crafting the next element whether it’s a bespoke ornament or a link in a chain, all overseen by dedicated and professional craftsmen.
When visiting, you will be able to watch the casting and shaping of the works first hand, a truly memorable moment.
